A bit about me
My perspective is uniquely forged from experience on both the client and consultant sides of major projects. This insight led me to found Think-a-Way Consulting to solve a critical industry problem: the disconnect between strategic vision, operational execution, and modern data analytics.
I empower transport organisations to harness data-driven decision-making, transforming complex information into a strategic asset for de-risking investments, optimising operations, and securing a competitive advantage.
Prior to Think-a-Way, I was Strategic Research Manager at the Rail Delivery Group, where I led the UK rail industry's flagship Passenger Demand Forecasting Scheme (PDFS) research programme and spearheaded the evolution of the essential Passenger Demand Forecasting Handbook (PDFH).
My technical foundation was built in senior roles at Jacobs and Mott MacDonald, delivering complex, data-intensive modelling and simulation for franchise bids, major business cases, and national master plans.
Unlike many technical consultants, I am also a hands-on entrepreneur. For nearly Five years, I successfully ran and grew an education business, mastering business strategy, marketing, and financial management. This direct operational experience allows me to apply pragmatic, business-focused solutions to transport challenges.
This dual perspective is formally fortified by a scholarship-based MBA certificate from the London School of Economics (LSE), advanced studies in Data Science (Machine Learning & predictive analysis), and a Master’s in Transport from Imperial College London.
